Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Awareness Course

Duration – 5 Hours

Ref: CHSE – H&S 5

Course Aims:

  • To provide candidates with an understanding of COSHH 2002
  • Equip them with the ability to make and record assessments (e.g.) Substances used in their workplace

Course Contents:

  • Requirements of the Regulations
  • The process of assessment
  • Record findings
  • Control risks

Course Outcome:

  • Raise awareness of the requirements of COSHH
  • Compliance with current Health & Safety Legislation

On successful completion of this training a certificate of attendance will be issued

  • Understanding how respiratory sensitisers at work can cause occupational asthma
