First Aid at Work Re-Qualification Course

Duration – 2 Days (12 Hours)

Course Aims:

To update candidates in the practical skills and knowledge to deal with any First Aid Emergency

Course Contents:

Principles of First Aid, Communication and Delegation, Respiration and Hypoxia, Resuscitation, Burns and Scalds, Personal Hygiene, Wounds & Bleeding, Tetanus, Shock, Eye Injuries, Record Keeping and Accident Reporting, First Aid Kit and its Contents, Causes and Treatment of Unconsciousness, Head & Chest Injuries, Fractures, Poisons, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Heart Conditions, All other work related accidents / Illnesses, Accidents and Scenarios

Course Outcome:

  • To renew current HSE recognised First Aid at Work qualification

  • Compliance with current Health & Safety Legislation

  • On successful completion of this training a certificate of attendance will be issued
